He is a member of several healthcare IT industry associations, including COCIR and Continua, and he is currently Vice President of the European Health Telematics Association (EHTEL). He served on the Industry Team for epSOS, and is the lead IBM representative for the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Aging (Action Area B3 – Integrated Care)

It showcased how ICT and innovation on a large scale in health and care systems can contribute to sustainability, economic growth and job opportunities during challenging times.
